The numbers don't lie: Why the industry is heading back to ScaffEx for another year
When we asked attendees what they thought of ScaffEx25, the answer came back loud and clear: 89% rated the event excellent or good.
Dig a little deeper into our post-event survey and the picture gets even better. Attendees scored the quality of exhibitors, the relevance of products and services on display, networking opportunities, the venue, event organisation and health and safety measures all at an average of 9 out of 10. Educational opportunities weren't far behind at 8 out of 10.
But the statistic that really tells the story of ScaffEx is this one: 84% of attendees agreed they discovered a new supplier they plan to do business with.
The whole supply chain, under one roof
That figure is no accident. What sets ScaffEx apart is the sheer breadth of the industry it brings together. Where else can a scaffolding business engage with its entire supply chain in a single visit? From system scaffolding to tube and fitting, from safety gear to trucks and lorries, from consultancy services to recruitment agencies, it was all there, side by side on one exhibition floor.
Attendees clearly made the most of it:
- 88% networked with industry peers
- 82% met their goal of meeting suppliers
- 77% met their goal of discovering new products
- 55% met their goal of sourcing materials for upcoming projects
And this wasn't just window shopping. Almost half of attendees (49%) either made a purchase at the show or soon after. For exhibitors and visitors alike, ScaffEx is where real business gets done.
ScaffEx26: bigger and better
Building on that success, ScaffEx26 returns on 10-11 September 2026 at Manchester Central, and it is shaping up to be the biggest gathering of scaffolding and access professionals yet.
