On Tuesday 23 May NASC delivered the second of two complimentary TG20 presentations to temporary works consultants, managers, and engineers employed by or working for principal contractors in the UK construction industry.

The future of scaffolding training in Nepal and recognition of the skills of Nepalese scaffolders working around the Middle East is looking very bright.

Simian Skill have formed a partnership with Tough Scaff in order to open a Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme (OSTS) centre in Chennai, Southern India.

NASC was pleased to host a meeting with Graham Burke CEO of Scaffolding, Access & Rigging New Zealand (SARNZ) at their London office on Thursday 16 May 2017.

The NASC will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Safety & Health Expo, June 20-22 at London’s prestigious ExCeL venue on Stand R90 – alongside the Access Industry Forum (AIF).

Simian Skill Dubai has completed another successful year of training in the UAE in the 2016/2017 period, recently passing the CISRS Annual accreditation audit with flying colours.

On Thursday 11 May the NASC delivered the first of two complimentary TG20 presentations to temporary works consultants, managers or engineers who are employed by, or work for principal contractors in the UK construction industry. The presentation took place at Thorpe Hotel & Spa in Leeds, West Yorkshire and was well-received by an attentive audience of temporary works professionals.

The NASC is organising two regional TG20 presentations (North/South) – aimed directly at assisting principal contractor temporary works consultants.
